Imaging with CropReporter

PhenoVation, the camera system manufacturer, will provide the CropReporter. This cabinet with a monochrome camera and a filter wheel will provide whole plant imaging on a pixel scale of chlorophyll fluorescence, multi spectral measurements, colour and green/red fluorescence protein. The CropReporter will use PAM, OJIP, NIR, far red and custom protocols to image photosynthesis efficiency, chlorophyll index and anthocyanin index.
By early 2021 the NPEC Greenhouse will be ready for large scale research and experiments!

Utrecht University renovated the climate chambers of the Phytotron in the Hugo R. Kruyt building between March and November 2020. The Phytotron is the main research facility for the plant scientists of the Institute of Environmental Biology (IEB).Read more
On 27th of November 2020 we have held an online seminar on Field Phenotyping organised by Fred Baret (INRAE) and Rick van de Zedde (WUR – NPEC). The aim of the workshop was to get to know each other better and explore collaboration.Read more
