We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our cutting-edge, NPEC Utrecht research facility.

It is with immense pride and joy that we share the news of the inauguration of our final three modules at Utrecht University on Friday (September 29, 2023). This represents a significant milestone for the NPEC and a leap forward in our commitment to pursuing the highest level of research in plant phenomics.

Our new three modules are composed of state-of-the-art equipment to enable research in many areas, including plant-microbe interactions phenotyping, and ecology. The research facility provides an optimal environment for our dedicated team of facility managers and scientists to push the boundaries of knowledge and make groundbreaking discoveries.

The facility is a joint initiative between Utrecht University and Wageningen University & Research. Researchers can monitor the growth and development of thousands of plants and study their interactions with various environmental factors like pathogens, and precisely controlled climate conditions.
